As a Springboard volunteer you’ll help older people who have experienced some life changing circumstances, meet, socialise find new hobbies and interests as well as mutual support.

Do you enjoy nursery rhymes, songs, wiggling & jiggling? Fancy helping babies and their grown-ups explore these as effective and fun methods of communication at the Lydney Library bounce & rhyme sessions?

Dursley Library Computer Buddy

We need computer buddy volunteers willing to share their IT skills with other Dursley library users to allow them to confidently go on-line, use basic Office packages, save and scan pictures and use the library’s catalogue.

Inclusion Gloucestershire Bridge Builder

As a bridge builder you’ll enable people with disabilities or mental ill health to access community activities, including courses and events at the Inclusion hub at Greyfriars.

Our Lighthouse volunteers help adults with learning disabilities discover and achieve their dreams while having fun and enjoying their community.

Fancy helping run our tearoom at the National Waterways Museum Gloucester. You would be serving tea, coffee and cake, as well as keeping the tearoom area clean and tidy.

Enjoy finding solutions to problems? Get satisfaction from finding out answers and sourcing support to help people live their lives a bit better? Then a SSAFA caseworker role could be for you.

We need volunteers to help run and evolve our café at the City Farm. Currently we serve drinks, ice creams and snacks, but it would be great to see the café developed and grow.
