King’s Jam is a thriving and vibrant community-run, community-owned event, which happens with the help and support of The Music Works, Your Next Move amongst others and many, many community volunteers. It celebrates and features some of the latest, most talked-about and respected local, national and international hip hop and urban acts, highlighting the true talent that is out there in music, dance and art.
We need people work front of house and around the site to ensure that our King’s Jam is the festival to be at if you want to see some of the UK latest, most talked-about and respected hip hop and urban acts such as WSTRN, Young T & Bugsey, Tiffany Calver & Stylo G as well as incredible local artists and bands such as Griz O, Naides and much more. As the name suggests it takes place in King’s Square Gloucester over the weekend of 15th & 16th August.
If you are good at dealing with people, ironing out problems, finding creative solutions, planning and getting things and people organised, or want to improve your customer service skills in this area, this is a volunteering opportunity for you.
Why get involved?
If you are interested in a career that involves customer service, looking after people or demonstrating organisational or people management skills then this is an excellent opportunity to plump up your CV and pick up some necessary skills along the way. The King’s Jam is going to be an exciting, dynamic and diverse festival and it’s on your doorstep, so size this opportunity to be part of it.
Equally if you already have all of those customer service skills, but really enjoy the atmosphere and music of King’s Jam (and we can’t say we blame you) and just fancy being part of the festival, we are just as keen to hear from you.
