This year Llanbthony will opening its doors to visitors on the first Sunday of every month and during public holidays. Visitors can see the newly refurbished spaces and find out more about the events and people that shaped Llanthony's history.
Guided tours of the site will take place each open day and we will be serving teas/coffees in The Lady Margaret Hall.
The site wil be open between 11am and 3pm. As a steward you will arrive on site for 10.30am where you will be given a uniform and a pass.
You will welcome the public to Llanthony Secunda and direct them to the various spaces.
We will have guided tours during the day which you can promote to the visitors and prehaps get to go on your self if you would like to know more about Llanthonys long and varied history.
We also like to have someone to manage the tea/coffee area which entails ensuring there is enough water and clearing away cups.
Why get involved?
Assisting with open days is engaging and rewarding work and you'll be able to reveal Llanthony's fantastic newly restored spaces to the visiting public.
