Llanthony Secunda Priory - Grounds tidying

Do you enjoy the great outdoors? Have a passion for conservation? We are always looking for active and enthusiastic volunteers to help look after our 5 acres of grounds.

Llanthony’s Grade I & II listed buildings are situated in tranquil open space in the heart of Gloucester Docks. As a volunteer grounds keeper you help to care for this special scheduled ancient monument.

What's involved?

Regular tasks vary throughout the year but include weeding around the Tithe Barn, trimming tree branches, litter picking, maintaining path edges, composting and burning garden waste and scrub.

Our volunteers meet for a short two hour session, from 10am to midday on the second Saturday of each month, rain or shine!

Why get involved?

As a volunteer you can expect to make new friends, enjoy some light exercise and fresh air and ensure Llanthony’s listed buildings are kept in tip top condition. Hot drinks provided for all those that brave the cold, your support is very much appreciated.

How to get involved?

  1. Sign into your account or sign up to Volunteer Makers.
  2. Accept the challenge.
  3. Await a response from Llanthony Secunda Priory Trust with more information.
