Activity Ace!

Bingo, quizzes, board games, arts and crafts – its all going on for our more senior members of the Redwell Community Centre and you can help!

Challenge 2

Age UK Creative volunteers

As a Life Changes Creative volunteer you’ll help older people who have experienced some life changing circumstances through involving them in creative activities.

Challenge 3

Age UK Life Changes Home Visit Volunteers

By visiting & supporting an older person in their own home you’ll help them adjust to a significant change in their circumstances.

Challenge 4

Age UK Springboard volunteers

As a Springboard volunteer you’ll help older people who have experienced some life changing circumstances, meet, socialise find new hobbies and interests as well as mutual support.

Challenge 5

Befriend a young person in care

An independent visitor is a volunteer who befriends and develops a long-term relationship with a young person in care. You become a consistent, trusted and supportive person that has a real positive impact on that young person’s life.

Bishops Cleeve Library Baby Bounce & Rhyme

Do you enjoy nursery rhymes, songs, wiggling & jiggling? Fancy helping babies and their grown-ups explore these as effective and fun methods of communication at the Bishops Cleeve Library bounce & rhyme sessions?

Challenge 7

Bishops Cleeve Library Computer Buddy

We need computer buddy volunteers willing to share their IT skills with other Bishops Cleeve library users to allow them to confidently go on-line, use basic Office packages, save and scan pictures and use the library’s catalogue.

Bourton-on-the-Water Library Baby Bounce & Rhyme

Do you enjoy nursery rhymes, songs, wiggling & jiggling? Fancy helping babies and their grown-ups explore these as effective and fun methods of communication at the Bourton-on-the-Water Library bounce & rhyme sessions?

Charlton Kings library needs book selector volunteers to choose, pack and process selections of suitable books for customers who are unable to get to a library, as well as for residential homes.

Listening Post based at Hesters Way Community Centre is looking for volunteer receptionists to allow people to smoothly access its counselling services.
