National Waterways Museum Gloucester Dredger Do up!

Our dredger is looking a little forlorn. It needs some care and attention – a complete outer paint strip and re-paint. Could you be the person to lavish it with love and help turn it from dredger dirge to dredger delight?

Explain Away at National Waterways Museum Gloucester

If you are passionate about engaging and enthusing children, young people and families at our Waterways Museum, then our Explainer volunteer role is for you!

Hillfield Wednesday Gardeners

Enjoy weeding, planting and pruning (and the odd cupper and bickie)? Fancy helping keep Hillfield Gardens looking good? Then join our volunteer community gardeners, meet new people and get some fresh air and gentle exercise to boot.

Tearoom Assistant at National Waterways Museum Gloucester

We need volunteers to help run our tearoom at the National Waterways Museum Gloucester. You would be serving tea, coffee and cake, as well as keeping the tearoom area clean and tidying and doing the washing up.

Bourton-on-the-Water Library Computer Buddy

We need computer buddy volunteers willing to share their IT skills with other Bourton-on-the-Water library users to allow them to confidently go on-line, use basic Office packages, save and scan pictures and use the library’s catalogue.

Salt Warehouse checkers

The Salt Warehouse store holds thousand of items for the National Waterways Museum. We need volunteers to help check & record object locations for our database.

Support at the Cavern

Can you listen without judgement? Be a friendly ear to those needing to talk. Then please be part of our listening service at the mental health drop in evenings at the Cavern.

Help us welcome visitors to Blackfriars during our open season and also prepare for and run events and activities.

Tale of Two Cities is a new Art Shape project, finding links from the past to present day Gloucester & considering the part each of us might play in shaping Gloucester's future.
