The Soldiers of Gloucestershire Museum collects and displays artefacts and memorabilia of the county's regiments – The Gloucestershire Regiment and the Royal Gloucestershire Hussars. As well as offering lots of different museum events, services and exhibitions we also have a small tearoom serving refreshments to visitors and those passing by at the docks. Our tearoom volunteers are a vital part of offering this important service to the public and also generating the revenue that helps support the museum.
We need people to run our tearooms. This would involve taking orders, serving hot and cold drinks, cakes and other snacks as well as keeping the tearoom area clean and tidy and doing the washing and drying up. We open seven days a week, 10am – 5pm so there are lots of tearoom shifts to be filled.
