Treasure Seekers Housekeeping help

Here at Treasure Seekers we believe that every single person has something to give to the community. We also believe that when someone is in a nurturing community they can grow and develop to become the best version of themselves. All of our volunteering opportunities are fully supported to help you be part of something bigger, grow and develop your skills and grow in confidence.

We need a volunteer to spend a few hours each week helping keep our building clean. We need a hand with basic housekeeping tasks like vacuuming, mopping, dusting and general cleaning.

We positively welcome all people in our community as volunteers at Treasure Seekers. If you would like an informal chat about this volunteering opportunity please email Craig@kftseekers.org.uk

What's involved?

We need to someone to help with basic housekeeping tasks in our two buildings. We are spread over four floors on each building so that is a lot of nooks and cranies that need looking after. We therefore need help with vacuuming, dusting, mopping and general tidying. We have all the equipment and cleaning supplies you would need, it’s just the elbow grease we require.

We’d really benefit from housekeeper help for a few hours during the day time each week. You could volunteer at a time during the day to suit you – we can be very flexible about this.

Why get involved?

This is a very flexible volunteering challenge that you could tailor to a time and day to suit you. Although we are a very friendly lot, you could decide on how much social interaction you have with people during your volunteering time, so if you wanted a volunteer challenge where you could work on your own,  without too much social contact, this could be for you.

How to get involved?

  1. Sign into your account or sign up to Volunteer Makers.
  2. Accept the challenge
  3. Await a response from the Treasure Seekers with more information
